Looking for another exciting tool to help keep your older Scouts excited about the Scouting program? This year's Council Challenge programs have been updated to offer the type of adventures older Scouts want.

To take part in one of the challenge programs, a Scout must be 13 years of age by the time of the event. All programs are being offered to youth and adults. Venturing Crew members are eligible to attend. Sign-ups are made on an individual basis. Most spaces are held on a first come first serve basis, and are only held with the required initial fee.

2008 Challenge Rafting Dates:
June 15 - Fathers' Day Raft Trip 1-day trip
July 9-11 - Upper Deschutes River 3-day trip
July 16-19 - Upper Deschutes River 4-day trip
July 23-25 - Upper Deschutes River 3-day trip
July 30-Aug 1 - Lower Deschutes River 3-day trip
Aug 13-15 - Lower Deschutes River 3-day trip
Aug 19-22 - Upper Deschutes River 4-day trip

Fees:
1-day trips: $65 per person

3-day trips (FOS units): $215 per person
3-day trips (non-FOS units): $255 per person

4-day trips (FOS units): $315 per person
4-day trips (non-FOS units): $370 per person

A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due at time of reservation ($20 deposit for one day trips). The balance is due June 15, 2008.

Baldwin Raft Trips:
Camp Baldwin campers are offered a one-day raft trip during their stay at Baldwin. A fee of $55 per person covers all costs except transportation, which troops provide for their participants. To register for these Baldwin-only trips, CLICK HERE.
