Silver Beaver Association Membership

What is the Silver Beaver Association? A council fellowship of recipients of the Silver Beaver award with a variety of aims which may include social interaction among members, providing support for scouting activities, and otherwise enhance Scouting programs.

What is the investment? Dues are only $20.00 per year. All memberships expire May 31 of each year, renewable by June 1 of each year.

What do dues pay for? Dues are used solely for the purposes of the Association. Some anticipated expenses include newsletter, gatherings, scholarships, service projects and other board-approved costs.

What are my Association Membership Benefits? As an Association Member, you will:

• Receive Compass Points – a newsletter that keeps Scouting members informed of what Scouts are doing in local communities.
• Receive notification of Association events, projects, and activities through an Association newsletter.
• Network with fellow Silver Beavers at special events such as camp visitations, Sea Scout ship cruises, and other activities.
• Wear the special Silver Beaver Association Council Shoulder Patch.
