A grant (the amount varies, but is generally $2,500 per year) for four years is awarded to a graduate of a South Bend, Ind., high school at a college of the student's choice. The scholarship comes from the income of a special fund set up by Fred Bryan. Scouts receive priority over applicants having no Scouting experience. Handled by a special committee, it is competitive.
