The Eagle Scout John S. Bell Scholarship is open to all cadets who are active in Scouting and plan to remain so, and are Eagle Scouts. Renewal of the scholarship is contingent on the recipient maintaining a specified satisfactory academic record and continuing active participation in Scouting. New Mexico Military Institute offers a unique two-year commissioning program with over $4,000 in U.S. Army ROTC monies over the two years at the institute.
