Scouting Programs

Tiger Cubs www.joincubscouts.com
A school-year program for first-grade (or 7-year-old) boys and adult mentors that stresses shared leadership, learning about the community, and family understanding. Each boy/adult team meets for family activities, then once or twice a month; all teams meet for Tiger Cub group activities.

Cub Scouting www.joincubscouts.com
A family and home-centered program for boys in the second through fifth grade. Cub Scouting's emphasis is quality programming at the local level. Fourth and fifth-grade boys are called Webelos (We'll Be Loyal Scouts) and participate in more advanced activities that begin to prepare them to become Boy Scouts.

A program for boys 11 through 17 designed to achieve the aims of Scouting through a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster.

Varsity Scouting
An active, exciting program for young men 14 through 17 built around five program fields of emphasis: advancement, high adventure, personal development, service, and special programs and events.

Venturing www.joinventuring.com
Venturing is a program for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) through 20 years of age. Youth-led Venturing crews specialize in a variety of vocation or hobby interests that are both service and activity oriented and often include high adventure experiences.

Sea Scouting www.joinseascouts.com
One of many venturing programs, Sea Scouting is a co-educational program offered to young adults between the ages of 14 and 21. Sea Scouting is designed to promote better citizenship and to improve boating skills and knowledge. Through instruction and practice in water safety, boating skills, outdoor experiences, and knowledge of our maritime heritage. Sea Scouting is adventure and challenge on sea and land.

Exploring www.joinexploring.com
A worksite based program that gives youth an opportunity to visit community organizations and explore the dynamics of various careers. The program is open to young men and women between the ages of 14 and 20.
