“Persistence and resilience only come from having been given the chance to work through difficult problems.”

– Gever Tulley

As our world reacts to the COVID-19 virus, we are keeping the safety and well-being of our Scouts, employees, the community and you, our supporters, utmost in our minds. Scouts across the PNW meet each new day with a common goal, to fulfill at least one Good Turn Daily, and engage in acts of kindness. Scouts strive on a daily basis to complete this objective and have been doing so for over 100 years. To Be. Prepared.® also remains a constant objective and helps youth and adults enhance mental and moral growth, as well as build resilience from one generation to the next. Scouting youth work to hone-in their problem-solving skills and refuse to let challenging situations knock them off track. Scouts and volunteer leaders excel in the face of adversity. They understand that in times of crisis, the only thing you can control is your reaction to events and situations.

We invite you to listen to current Scouters and alumni who apply resilience every day to overcome adversity and ensure positive outcomes.

Be Pro-active. Our Scouts Need YOU!

Scouting is a platform for physical, mental, and moral growth. Our community is facing a very challenging situation. While Scouting is proud to be a preventative organization that instills lessons of preparedness, we need your help to continue, and expand our efforts to even more families. Be pro-active and help mold future leaders of all backgrounds who have the grit and resilience this community needs. Your support is crucial to this effort. You have the ability to ensure all youth have the opportunity to Scout.
