NEW – Required training for running overnight district and council events
Short-Term Camp Administrator National Camping School Online courses are facilitated through the National Service Center. The training consists of several modules designed to prepare the participant to manage the short-term camp from planning and program development to staff recruitment to assessment. Training will last about 10 hours with interactions and discussions designed to help meet the needs of the participants while conveying the strategies to serve in this role. Course materials will be made available electronically.
The Cascade Pacific Council will cover the fee for CPC members planning to run district and council short-term camps. Out of Council participants cost is $75, paid with registration.

2/17, 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 6:30PM to 8:30PM
3/14 and 3/21, 1:00PM to 5:00PM

Western Region, Area 1 is hosting a Commissioner College open to all Commissioners wanting to work on a degree or who would like to audit the courses. There are instructors from 9 of the 12 councils in Area 1. This is using Zoom to help deliver a program and getting the benefit of a much larger pool of folks and ideas.
The college occurs on April 3rd and 10th (two Saturdays). A few classes will be repeated Wednesday between the 3rd and 10th. There will be a guest speaker each Saturday, with names to be announced soon. There is a $5 fee to help with administrative costs and for a patch that will be mailed to each participant after the college.
Pacific Time – 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. each Saturday – Wednesday classes (repeated course) are from 7 p.m. to 8:10 p.m.
Again, a few of the courses will be offered a second time midweek. All of the courses will be offered between the two Saturdays.

Inspire attendees to invest financially in the local Scouting program.
All funds raised at this event will support the Cascade Pacific Council’s Camp4All campaign; a donor designated fund which supports camping-related expenses to ensure that every local Scout has access to a quality camping experience.
