Spend a weekend or just a day enjoying the satisfaction of a job well done and sharing it with others that love the outdoors and Scouting!
Grab your hammer and head to camp, we need YOUR help! Each of our camps holds a Hammer Camp work weekend or a work day during the spring that is vital to our ability to open camp. We will be building new, repairing old, and just making sure that everything is ready to go. We pay for the food for the weekend or day, and every participant will be awarded a special recognition as a token of our thanks. The need is real. Make plans now to help get a camp ready for Scouting to come to life. Do you have special skills? Let us know so we can plan on using you to your (and our camp’s) best use.
Our Council Properties Committee has an individual in charge of each of its properties. Having plenty of people at each camp work weekend is important to each camping season. Most camps provide food and housing for the weekend. Some discourage bringing children and others specifically encourage it.
