Summer Camp is officially under way! Fun note: the first troop to arrive at Camp Meriwether this weekend was Troop 316 from Paradise, California. The 12 Scouts and 5 adults made the 530 mile trek from their hometown in Northern California, arriving at Camp Meriwether just before 5 p.m. Saturday. (And they were totally pumped to learn they were the first to arrive!)

Thank you to all of our camp staff who have been training, cleaning, team-building and hustling to get everything ready!

Congratulations to Eagle Scout Scholarship recipient Jacob McClelland of Rivers Edge district's Troop 132. Jacob is a 4.0 GPA graduate from Wilsonville High School.⠀
