NRA – RSO. This course teaches the basic duties a Range Safety Officer performs. It provides a thorough introduction to the role of Range Safety Officers (RSOs); range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range safety briefings; range inspections and rules; emergency procedures; as well as how to clear firearm stoppages and correct malfunctions. This NRA Range Safety Officer course is designed to use the training methodology of Total Participant Involvement (TPI), which minimizes the use of lecture and stresses active learning by doing. Course fees do not include credential activation with NRA.
