Things to Know Before You Go
Despite the CDC’s updated guidelines for people who are fully vaccinated, we still request our customers use our online ordering system with curbside service. If you must come into the store, the Scout Shop will still require masks for everyone inside our building.
While the vaccinations are proving to be effective in reducing the spread of Covid-19, Scouting primarily serves youth who have not yet received the vaccine. Many of our volunteers are at risk due to age and underlying medical issues. We will review our policy again as time proves the effectiveness of current measures. Thank you for your understanding.
When you visit you’ll notice the following changes:
- Curbside-pickup is available – see the details below
- We’re limiting the number of people in the store to ensure plenty of social-distance.
- Hand sanitizer is available.
- Plexiglass sneeze guards are installed at checkout points.
- We’ve implemented rigorous cleaning routines throughout the day.
- Prior to beginning every shift, team members will complete an Employee Health Screening to ensure they are ready and able to work safely.
- Every team member is provided with facial coverings to use during their shifts and are asked to frequently wash their hands.
- Cash will NOT be accepted as a form of payment until further notice to limit the risk of spreading germs. We will continue to accept credit/debit cards.
We respectfully request you to follow social distancing and safety protocols recommended by public health officials, including wearing a facial covering when visiting to help protect yourself and our team members.
