Important Update from Nor’West Scout Shop

The Nor’West Scout Shop is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The store is located in Multnomah County, which has significant restrictions on store operations, so to protect customers and employees the store remains closed. However, there are multiples ways to get Scouting supplies and Advancement items:

Order at ScoutShop.org

You can order from the national Scout Shop online at http://www.scoutshop.org. A variety of Scouting items, activities and gear can be purchased at any time. To order Advancement items such as rank badges from the online store, just click the banner at the top of the page or click here for more information and easy ordering.  You’ll need to send in an Advancement report, and the national team will make sure your order is handled efficiently.

CAMP4ALL FREE ADVANCEMENT ITEMS AVAILABLE THROUGH OUR PARTNER STORE

The Ore-Ida Scout Shop is partnering with Cascade Pacific Council to serve units that qualify for free advancement items. Please contact Store Manager (and former Portland store employee) Zachary Gottula at (208) 375-7882 or oreidascoutshop@scouting.org.

When will we re-open?

We are following the guidance of the Oregon’s Governor Kate Brown and will re-open the store when it is safe to do so. Unfortunately, the Nor’West Scout Shop’s single entrance/exit, tight layout, and narrow aisles makes difficult to comply with store opening protocols. But we will let you know as soon as the Nor’West Scout Shop is able to re-open.
