Why Join Scouting? Because

GRIT STARTS HERE

Despite the global pandemic Battleground Scouts & their families safely served, adventured & persevered.

Since the day the COVID crisis hit, Scouts in Battleground and their families safely served their communities, camped on our beachfront and wilderness properties and continued to grow in GRIT.

Our Scouts have made masks for healthcare workers, cleared graffiti, earned thousands of advancement awards and hiked thousands of miles with their families. (Read more in our COVID Impact Report.)

And as the pandemic lifts, Scouts are prepared to go on epic adventures, learn new skills and become tomorrow’s leaders and persevere, just as we’ve done for more than 100 years.

Adventure. Grit. Growth.

That’s what you get when you Scout with us.
