Local scouts put together skits and songs for the virtual campfire that closed the camp-in
Excerpt from KGW Newschannel 8 Story: Boy Scout camp looked a little different this year. Instead of pitching a tent in the woods, the Boy Scouts did a day-long Facebook live “virtual” camping event. Scouts from all over the country took part and the Portland area played a big role.
“Out of the entire country, Portland got picked to be the host of the digital campfire and we are so excited,” said Claire Osterman of the Cascade Pacific Council.
